Cultivating the richness of
intellectually talented children
The specialists say that there
is every fifth talented child in Europe.
The number of
really intellectually talented children is increasing. Many of them
can read, they can write
in block letters and they master simple
mathematical operations at pre-school age.
It depends
on several factors:

young people decide to have baby in mature
-
the parents reach upper education
-
the parents have got one
or two children, so they can devote
them
-
child’s intelligence and intellectual abilities are affected by many stimulus
The work, with
talented children with specific necessities,
isn’t effective in standard classes.

There are ever
more schools with a new-open classes for talented children
in Slovakia. ( Nitra, Košice, Ružomberok, Rimavská Sobota, Topoľčany, …)

She elaborated the
project about alternative welfare of talented children.
She is also
psychologist, explorer and also headmaster of School for
talented children in
Bratislava.
The teacher in class
for talented pupils works:

with plans and syllabuses approved by the Ministry of
Education

principles of analysis, synthesis, generalization and inferring

with special student’s book for alternative tuition.
The teacher puts
a premium on:

tuition of foreign
language

drill of writing
in block letters

individual student work

games, stimulation exercises

development of verbal abilities

understanding, apprehension own output status and self-classification.
System of ERIN education
It’s a system of day-long welfare, for children with
specific interests. In the afternoon the children can attend several coteries:
chess, ecology, Lego, computer science …
